How to Log Complaints on the Access Bank IVR

If you want to log a complaint on the Interactive Voice Response (IVR), you will simply press 2 from the main menu. Different options will be displayed, you will need to choose a number that represents your complaint and then follow the subsequent prompts to provide the transaction details. Once this process is completed, an SMS will be sent to you containing your complaint ID and the expected resolution date. Customers can always check for the status of their complaints on the IVR. This can be done by pressing 2 from the main menu and then press 1. You will need to input your complaint account number. Then, the status of your complaint will be sent to your registered phone number. If you have more than one active case on your account, you will be routed to Access Bank Customer Care agent for detailed feedback.

How to Check Your Access Bank Account Balance on the IVR

Perhaps you are calling the Access Bank Customer Care number to check your account balance, you will need to press 5 on the main menu. Then, press 1 to get your account balance. If you are a new user, you will need to press 1 to give your consent. If you press 1, you will receive an OTP on your registered phone number. You will then input the OTP after which you will be requested to input your USSD PIN. If you want to request for your account statement on the IVR, you will follow the same process described above if you want to check your account balance on the IVR. But instead of pressing 1 after you have pressed 5, you will press 5 and then 2 to request your account statement. Other processes remain the same. However, in addition you will specify the duration you want by selecting the appropriate number. This time around, because you are requesting the bank statement, you can receive this as a text message. The bank statement will be sent to your registered email address.

How to Block Your Access Bank Debit Card on the IVR

After you have dialed the Access Bank Customer Care Number, you will press 1 on the main menu and then press 2 to block your Access Bank debit card. Select 1 to block your Access Bank debit card using the exact card number. This will transfer your call to an Access Bank Customer Care agent for the exact card to be blocked. Select 2 to block all debit cards linked to your Access Bank account. All your Access Bank debit cards will be blocked.

How to Block Your Access Bank Account on the IVR

This is an online form that customers can fill on the Access Bank portal in order for the bank to resolve their complaints, inquiries, or service requests. Basically, you will need to provide your Account Name, Account Number (your 10 Digit NUBAN), Email Address, Phone Number, Select Case Type (Complaint or Service Request), Category, Sub Category, Financial Implication, Transaction Amount, Transaction Date, and Transaction Ref ID. You will need to provide details of your complaint, inquiry, or request in a space provided on the form. Then click submit.
